Markdown & RAG Export for Confluence: End User License Agreement

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-10-16 · Licensor: Sipki, LLC, New York, USA (“Sipki”, “we”) · Support: support@sipkigroup.com · Privacy Policy

By installing or using the app (“App”), you (“Customer”) agree to these terms. If you accept them for an organization, you confirm that you may bind it. The App is distributed through the Atlassian Marketplace; these are the End User Terms that Sipki provides for the App. Atlassian is not a party to them and is not responsible for the App.

1. Licence

Sipki grants Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on the Confluence Cloud sites for which Customer holds a valid subscription to the App, within the number of users and the term paid for, or within the free tier if one is offered. All rights not granted are reserved. The App is licensed, not sold.

2. Restrictions

Customer may not: (a) copy, modify, sublicense, resell or provide the App to third parties as a service; (b) reverse engineer or decompile the App, except where applicable law forbids this restriction; (c) remove notices; (d) bypass licence checks or Forge or Atlassian limits; (e) use the App in breach of law or of the Atlassian Cloud Terms and Acceptable Use Policy; (f) use the App to export content that Customer has no right to export or to process further.

3. Customer content

The App reads Confluence content through the Confluence Cloud REST API as the current user and only within that user's permissions. Customer remains the owner of its content and is responsible for what it exports, stores and shares afterwards. The App creates a ZIP file in the user's browser and saves it to the user's device; Sipki does not receive it.

4. Platform quotas and limits

The App runs on Atlassian's Forge platform and calls the Confluence REST API. Its operation depends on, and may be limited by:

Exports run within these limits. Very large spaces may take longer, may be slowed by rate limiting, may stop with a partial result, or may need to be exported in parts. The App pauses and retries when Atlassian asks it to (Retry-After) and has a built-in limit of 2,000 pages per export. Atlassian may change its quotas and limits at any time, and Sipki is not liable for the effect of such changes. Content that the user's permissions do not allow the App to read is skipped and noted in the export report.

5. Support

We provide e-mail support at support@sipkigroup.com during normal business hours (New York time, Monday to Friday) and aim to respond within 2 business days. Updates and fixes are provided at our discretion.

6. Fees and term

Paid plans are billed and collected by Atlassian under the Atlassian Marketplace terms. Prices, taxes, trials, renewals, cancellation and refunds are governed by those terms and the Marketplace listing. These terms apply while Customer uses the App and end automatically if Customer materially breaches them or uninstalls the App. Sipki may suspend or end access to the App for breach of these terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP AND ITS OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Conversion of Confluence content to Markdown or JSON may omit or change content (for example some macros, attachments and formatting). Customer should check results before relying on them. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIPKI IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. SIPKI'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT CUSTOMER PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD 100 IF THE APP WAS FREE.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights Customer has under mandatory law.

9. Security incidents

If we become aware of a security incident affecting Customer data processed by the App, we will notify Atlassian within 48 hours of discovery and Customer without undue delay. The App stores no Customer content outside Customer's devices and Atlassian's platform.

10. Third-party names

Confluence, Atlassian and Forge are trademarks of Atlassian. The App is an independent product of Sipki, LLC and is not endorsed by Atlassian. Names are used only to identify compatible products.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in the State of New York have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party submits to them. Mandatory consumer protection law of Customer's place of residence is not affected.

12. General

These terms are the entire agreement about the App and replace earlier understandings. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page; continued use after the new effective date means acceptance. Contact: support@sipkigroup.com.
